Our market + vendor terms and conditions.
Vendor Requirements
Vendors must complete and submit a Vendor Application, which includes acceptance of the Vendor/Market Rules and Regulations, and adherence to related governmental rules and permit requirements.
Applications, permits, licenses, and fees must be completed before vendors are allowed to participate.
A sign must be displayed in the vendor's stall, identifying the name and location (county or city). Additional information, such as a phone number or website, may be included.
Vendors must supply their own stall necessities: tables, chairs, signs, canopies, umbrellas, and refrigeration (if needed).
Electricity is not guaranteed unless confirmed by the market. If provided, vendors must bring their own extension cords and cover them in customer walking areas.
Vendors needing electricity for health department compliance have priority over others.
Vendors and their employees must comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations and licensing requirements.
Vendors giving product samples must adhere to San Diego County Health Department sanitation and health rules.
Manufactured food products must satisfy San Diego County Health Department rules, including licensing and permitting.
Foods produced by "Cottage Food Producers" may be sold per the State of California Department of Health regulations.
All foods must be properly labeled. Un-labeled packaged or processed foods are prohibited.
For details on selling manufactured canned or processed foods, contact the San Diego County Health Department.
Vendors are liable for any claims and damages resulting from the sale of unsafe or unapproved goods.
Vendors must provide all materials and containers for customer sales.
Eligible participation is determined by the Solana Beach Farmer's Market. All decisions are final.
Vendors must obtain a Sales Tax Number if mandated by the State of California. They are responsible for collecting, paying, and filing sales taxes. The market will not assist in tax-related matters.
Vendors must handle their own trash. Market trash facilities are off-limits.
On-site restrooms are available.
The market occasionally provides free space to city and community organizations for educational and outreach purposes.
